Guardian Voyager Lifter Review

Easy to use , easy to store, lifts higher than "portable" lifts. We have loved it for 3 years with 2 exceptions. A careless aide didn't properly attach the sling straps once, and our patient was dropped. You not only need to be sure the sling strap is over the top of the hook, but over the bottom knob and flat on the bar. Also our equipment service provider told us misinformation about the battery and we ruined several before we learned to store the battery in the charger between uses. The advantages of an overhead lift are incredible. We also purchased a small strong manual lift that comes apart and fits in the van for power problems and travel.
